Since 2006 I have been fortunate enough to have an amazing friend by my side. He has taught me so much about myself and the way I interact with the world. He has taught me how to accept myself for who I am and how to show the same acceptance to others. He has been my rock (and still is) when times are hard and I've felt like the world is against me. He never judges me and is always there to nudge me and help me realise everything is going to be okay. His name is Magic and he is an amazing horse who came into my life and helped shape me into the person I am today. Magic brought equine-assisted therapy to me and now he is helping me to bring equine-assisted therapy to others. He is Magic. And what better way to explain something that is unexplainable yet so powerful as the life changing effects of equine-assisted therapy.
